In the class NMED2030 – Digital Video Production, we were tasked as a group to produce a short commercial for a product of our choice. We decided to create a commercial for a pen (called the “Sic” pen); but, rather than advertising for the more superior fountain pen shown in the commercial, we decided to advertise for the more common, boring pen. The commercial portrays an individual using the fountain pen, who is obviously very jealous of the pen that her fellow student is using. Once handed the pen she has been admiring, she is transformed. With this new pen, she can “write in style”.
