While our physicality stays intact, our minds and spirits crack, break and shatter over time. The three lights (red, blue, green) represent our past, present, and future. Each light casts a shadow in a different direction, size, and color that intersects and overlaps with the other two shadows. I believe that the past is far more influential than the present or the future, and that’s why the hanging film strips and their shadows represent a heavy cloud of memories that overcasts our lives as we move through time.
