This expanded cinema project portrays the intractability between user interface and creator. It expounds on the idea that expanded cinema goes beyond just the viewing, but it enables the user to play a role in the outcome of the art piece.
I selected to use paint and a projector to deliver this idea. Pouring a bucket of paint into a picture frame and then projecting a famous renaissance painting unto the paint, with a paint brush for the intractability. This allows the viewers to stroke across the paint creating a feel of re-creating the actual famous painting.
The background sound is a classical piano being played to further encapsulate the audience into the renaissance moment in time.
