This project is an art piece designed to be viewed in a gallery setting. Installed on the wall, this piece is designed to remind the viewer of what it is like to have a nightmare. A specific sequence of events shows the viewer the routine of going to bed, putting on pyjamas (triggering the lighting up of the brain indicating dreaming), having a nightmare (in this case, being bitten by a snake), and then being soothed upon waking up. This piece is nostalgic in nature, and may also leave the user feeling vulnerable. Having a nightmare is a common shared memory, and whether you were soothed as a child or not, the lullaby should provide that for the viewer now. Created using Arduino, and various soft sensors.
